| A few members of Stations 7 & 8 had the honor of traveling to Calera F.D. for some Rapid Intervention Team Training instructed by Battalion Chief Don McKinney & EMS Coordinator Russell Griffin of McKinney Fire Rescue. Rapid Intervention Teams are teams of Firefighters, specially trained to rescue other Firefighters in case there is an emergency at a scene. West Bryan County Fire Rescue and other departments in Bryan County are currently working on trying to get a system setup where any structure fire in the County gets a special unit assigned as a RIT team, just in case... |
