The Department today operates out of 2 stations, providing structural & wildland fire suppression, hazardous materials & emergency medical first response, and first-due vehicle extrication for a large portion of Western Bryan County, Oklahoma. We cover a large part of the Oklahoma Side of Lake Texoma, one of the biggest lakes in Oklahoma, and a huge tourist attraction for Bryan County. We serve an area of approximately 7500 full & part-time residents, as well as an extremely large volume of people "Just passing through." West Bryan County Fire Rescue is proud to be a member of the Bryan County Fire Chief's Association, and we were the 3rd department in the county to be involved in the county station numbering system, giving us Firehouses 7 & 8. Firehouse 7 is located approximately 3 miles east of the Roosevelt Bridge over Lake Texoma. Firehouse 7 is our main operations station, and has been with the Department since the beginning. Firehouse 7 currently houses Engine 7, Brush 7, Brush 701 & Batallion 7. Firehouse 7 also houses our meeting, maintenance, and training facilities, as well as a day room/bunk room and administrative offices!
