Below you will find pictures of a recent motor vehicle accident at our most popular intersection, Highway 70 West & Newberry Creek Road.  The Officer Team of West Bryan County Fire Rescue were all at Station
7 for an Officer's Meeting, and immediately heard the incident as it occurred.  Rescue 8 was staffed and responded from Station 7.  Upon pulling out the doors, visibility dropped to almost 0 due to extremely thick
fog.  Rescue 8 made the turn from Station 7 onto Highway 70 West and immediately gained sight of the accident, as Bryan County Communications Center began to dispatch.  Rescue 8 arrived on scene and
assumed Command of a 4 Vehicle Accident, 2 passenger vehicles & 2 tractor-trailers.  Rescue 8 crew immediately did a quick size up of the situation, established that there were miraculously only one minor
injury and no hazardous materials situations.  As you can see in the pictures, 1 of the semi trailers was actually cut in half as another drove through it.  The tractor that drove through the other trailer missed a
large load of steel spools by about 1 foot!  Highway 70 was totally blocked from 1923 until 0130 hours. Units from West Bryan County Fire Rescue, Bryan County EMS, Bryan County Sheriff's Department, and the
Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the incident.  Units from West Bryan County were on scene from approximately 1923 hours until 0130.

Excuse the poor picture quality, the mist & fog played havoc with our camera!
